is an excellent product which is ratcheting up the bar on green
buildings beyond other international rating tools such as LEED and

Green Star
How
Green is your Building? Australia's Green Star - Office
As Built was officially launched today by the Victorian Deputy
Premier, Minister for Environment & Water, John
Thwaites.
The Green Building Council of Australia's
Green Star - Office As Built rating tool is the second of a
suite of rating tools under the Green Star environmental
rating system for buildings. It complements the Green Star -
Office Design rating tool, launched in 2003, by providing a
means to assess whether the intent of an office building's
design is met by its construction.
The course
focuses on two key issues - workplace productivity
benefits and cost control - in its review of innovation,
best practice and policy in the fast-growing 'Green
design' area.
