Keeping you up to date with all the latest news from the Green Building Council of Australia.

Seasons Greetings!

What an amazing fourteen months its been. Since launching on 30 October 2002, we have developed the Green Star - Office Design rating tool, hosted Australia's first national Green Building Conference, and actively lobbied governments around the country to drive change in the property industry - to name just a few of our achievements. We now have around 100 member organisations.

In 2004 - the Year of the Built Environment - we will build on our achievements to further the shift towards an environmentally sustainable Australian property industry. In the year ahead we will launch three new Green Star rating tools: Green Star rating tool for office fit-out; Green Star - Office Post Construction and Green Star rating tool for Existing Office buildings. We will also run our program of Green Star Accredited Professional courses and continue advocating change.

Thank you to all of you who have supported and assisted us in our journey towards creating a sustainable property industry. We are taking a well earned break and the office will be closed until 27 January 2004. From all of us at the Green Building Council we wish you the very best for the festive season and the coming year.
